Buying coffee cups?
In the hunt for the perfect coffee experience, I was keen to find out about the standard coffee cups we drink from when visiting our favourite cafe. More often than not, when you drink your favourite brew from a crockery cup, they are brown on the outside and white on the inside. I thought it might be cool to buy some of these cups as a present for ‘our’ at home coffees.
The barista at The Corner Store café gave some great advice on the cups they use and also about a new range of coloured cups that his brother had just purchased. He said, “ACF cups are the industry standard” and promptly showed me the ACF mark on the bottom of the cup he was about to use. I was there to buy a bag of Cleanskin Coffee Company beans … but more about that later.
I asked where I might be able to purchase a small quantity of cups and saucers. He told me Veneziano at West End was the best place to go. Off I went, but alas as I arrived someone had just purchased their entire stock :-O. However I did get to see the new colourful range the barista told me about. So off to the Internet and the search for AFC cups began.
The website – http://www.acfcups.com.au/ has the product range on display for you to view including colours, sizes and new additions. I really liked the Custom range. However, back to the task at hand … brown coffee cups. Contacting ACF revealed that orders were available in lots of six or twelve. They also provided info on their new line of cups which were the fantastic coloured variety – http://www.nuovapoint.com.au/coloured_cups.php. These could only be ordered in sets of 12 cups with saucers included.
To find out about costs check out the PDFs (ACF Price List or Nuova Point Price List) contact the supplier through the website. I ordered 6 of the Brown108M cups. I’ll let you know how the ordering and delivery process works out, so stay tuned ….

My gourmet coffee would look great in those cups!
How were these cups ? I just got given a little espresso machine and need some lovely cups
The cups are awesome – so nice to drink from – nothing like Italian porcelain
Can you get these in 8, 12, and 16 ounces? Those are our standard sizes for our shop, but I can’t find any sets that look better than these mugs.
Hey Kate – best to contact the suppliers – we just ordered through them – http://www.acfcups.com.au/
